What is a bond?
Bonds are debt securities that are profitable alternative to the bank deposit. By purchasing bonds you hand over your money to the Bank for a definite period (2 years). The Bank pays you interest each quarter for 14% p.a. thatis not taxable for the use of your money. In two years the Bank will completely redeem (return) the amount invested by you. If it is necessary you can return money ahead of time.

What are the advantages of KICB bonds?
Income from KICB bonds is not taxable
The main advantage of KICB bonds is that income from securities received by legal entities and individuals is not taxable as KICB bonds will be included into the category «Blue Chips» of the listing at the “Kyrgyz stock exchange” CJSC (the Tax code of KR, art.167 cl.36, art. 189, cl.9, art. 223).
The investors can return money at any time
The bondholder wishing to early return invested money can conclude an agreement with a KICB broker (the Financial company “Senti”) of securities sale, pay the Broker’s services and sell his bonds to other investors. If there is no demand for bonds, KICB will buy out its securities itself from investors wishing to sell them ahead of time.
KICB bonds will be included into the listing category Blue Chips
At present the Bank’s bonds are undergoing the listing procedure at the Kyrgyz stock exchange and will be included into the second highest category of listing «Blue Chips». It confirms reliability of the Bank, ensures transparency of its financial documentation and exempts bondholders from payment of taxes.
Cooperation with EBRD
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has actively assisted in implementation of the project on issue of KICB bonds. EBRD has provided technical and consulting support as well as expressed an intention to buy the part of the issued bonds, which indicates high reliability of KICB securities.
Where will be the interests on bonds paid?
The interests on bonds for 14% per annum are paid each three months in one of the following ways: in cash in the head office of the Bank, by transfer to you banking card or settlement account. You can choose the most convenient way of interest payment for you.
