Letter of credit

Letter of credit is an undertaking of the issuing bank according to which issuing bank acting on the  instructions of its client (customer) undertakes to make payment to seller against presentation of specified documents and complying with the predefined terms and conditions of letter of credit.

Advantages of letter of credit

  • Minimization of risks upon non fulfillment of liabilities on delivery of goods/services or its payment
  • Extension of circle of international and local potential customers
  • Use of name and reputation of the bank for concluding international settlements

Opening commission:

1% per quarter or part thereof (min. USD 50)

Acceptance commission:

0,5% (min. USD 50)

Payment commission:

0,5% (min. USD 50 and max. USD 1000)

Advice of letter of credit or its amendments: 

USD 100

SWIFT charge:

USD 15

 DHL/Postage:

USD 50

Amendments:

For amendments that either increase the amount or extend the validity of L/C, the appropriate opening commission will apply.

All other amendments  – USD 100
