You can use this option only in case if you need mediator for trade deal, who will provide documents that confirm shipment of goods in exchange for payment.

Collection differs from letter of credit in way that in case with collection the bank does not bear liabilities on payment of documents, but acts only as mediator who hands over documents against payment or acceptance of bill as per supplier’s instructions.

Peculiarity of documentary collection is that exporter first fulfills its liabilities: makes and ships goods, carries out works or provides services.
