On January 21, 2010, KICB received a merchant acquiring license for VISA payment cards. This decision was made by the VISA International Regional Operating Committee in London. The license allows the Bank to service VISA card terminals at merchant facilities across Kyrgyzstan.

According to VISA international payment system procedures, upon obtaining a license, KICB must pass certification and only then will it be able to begin servicing VISA POS terminals installed at merchant facilities.

KICB is a principal member of the VISA international payment system. The Bank’s ATM network spans over 30 locations and its KICB VISA discount program includes over 100 retailers in Kyrgyzstan.
