This year KICB celebrates its 10th anniversary. Throughout the period of work the bank has been focusing to work on the basis of international business experience. Principles of transparency and reliability, high quality service and professionalism allowed KICB to take a firm stand among the top three banks in Kyrgyzstan.
The Bank's shareholders are international financial institutions and the Kyrgyz Republic.
The official opening ceremony was held on August 29, 2001, which was attended by representatives of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, founders of the Bank, banking and business communities. After official opening the Bank started providing banking services to corporate clients, mostly medium and large private enterprises.
As a result of successful development and establishment of loan activity of the Bank, the Board of Directors in 2003 made a strategic decision to expand the range of banking services and gradually transform into a universal bank with an extensive branch network.
In accordance with the new strategy the Bank’s first branch was opened in February 2004 in the heart of Bishkek, in a new and modern business center building "Dordoi Plaza." The branch was providing cash management services, remittances, exchange transactions and accepting deposits from corporate and private clients.
During 6 years of successful development of branch network the Bank's branches became available in almost all regions of Kyrgyzstan. The bank has more than 400 employees, and their number is constantly growing. The Bank focuses on training current and new employees at its training center producing highly qualified banking specialists.
On March 23, 2010 the Bank moved to a new Head Office. Four-storied building is located in the heart of the capital and is considered as the most modern and technologically advanced among all the Bank offices in Kyrgyzstan.
Over the years investment contribution to the economy of Kyrgyzstan has comprised more than 50 million dollars. More than 60 000 regular clients trust the Bank and appreciate the Bank’s special attitude towards them. 18 bank offices across the country are open for clients’ service.
Since the foundation of the Bank the basic idea of KICB brand was safety and security of customer funds, which was reflected in the slogan - a reliable bank. More than 30,000 depositors trust in us. Most deposits placed in KICB are long-term.
More than 4 thousand customers appreciate available terms on loans issued by the Bank. KICB is the only bank that offers an opportunity to purchase housing based on mortgage program for a period of 10 years. Moreover, within the framework of corporate social responsibility, the Bank also issues easy (preferential) credits, such as: loans for education, housing heat-insulation and energy savings.
KICB is a principal member of VISA International payment system. 30 thousand KICB cardholders are served by the largest service network consisting of more than 200 devices. KICB is the only bank in Kyrgyzstan issuing payment cards with individual design.
The last 10 years will be remembered as years of success, progress and achievements. These years the Bank’s activity was focused on improving the quality of services and increasing greater transparency. We confidently look forward to the future and are not afraid of difficulties.
